This Newsletter’s Table of Contents:<\/strong><\/p>\n With Memorial Day right around the corner, our search continues for more KCMSSL military service veterans to add to our\u00a0website’s\u00a0“Military Service Wall” – https:\/\/kcseniorsoftball.org\/?page_id=7781<\/strong><\/a> .\u00a0 We have\u00a0already collected information on 134\u00a0of our current\u00a0or deceased\u00a0members.\u00a0\u00a0Please help grow\u00a0this\u00a0list.<\/p>\n Provide the following:<\/p>\n Send your\u00a0information to:\u00a0John Mondi\u00a0– jmondi@kc.rr.com<\/strong><\/a>, or mail it to John —\u00a010517 W 102nd Ter., Overland Park, KS\u00a0 \u00a066214.\u00a0 Questions?…..please give John\u00a0a call – 913.284.6005.<\/p>\n Due to another customer “beating us to the punch” relative to reserving Black Bob Park (where we had our 2025 All-Star Games \/ Picnic, etc.), we have had to, once again, pivot to a new location for our 2026\u00a0annual event.\u00a0 \u00a0We will be moving “up North” to\u00a0Happy Rock\u00a0Park – 7565 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, MO 64119 – https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/eh2hdspDoNGuH2oBA<\/strong><\/a> .\u00a0 And with that move, the date\u00a0will be changing to\u00a0Saturday,\u00a0September 12th<\/strong>.<\/p>\n We are currently still exploring our food options for this year’s event.\u00a0 \u00a0For those who attended the 2025 event, you may\u00a0recall “Two Guys and a Grill” provided\u00a0the food.\u00a0 We may employ them again this year, but again, we are exploring other options.\u00a0 \u00a0We will update everyone once we make that decision.\u00a0 Either way, THE FOOD\u00a0WILL CONTINUE TO BE FREE TO ALL ATTENDEES!!<\/strong><\/p>\n More details to come in future monthly newsletters.\u00a0 If you have any questions in the meantime, please feel free to contact any of your board members — https:\/\/kcseniorsoftball.org\/?page_id=70<\/strong><\/a> .<\/p>\n The Board of Directors has agreed to expand the universe of those eligible to receive an Ambassador Jacket — beginning in 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n What are\u00a0the new criteria’s requirement options\u00a0in this\u00a0expanded format?<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0Qualifying service\u00a0consists of earning “credit points” via the :<\/p>\n Any member who accumulates a total of 20 qualifying credits, in any combination of\u00a0playing, managing, coordinating, or serving on the Board<\/strong>, is now\u00a0eligible for an Ambassador jacket.\u00a0 \u00a0Qualifying service is limited to four credits per calendar year \u2013 one credit point each for each qualifying category: Managing;\u00a0Coordinating;\u00a0Playing;\u00a0and\/or Serving on the Board of Directors.<\/p>\n If you believe you qualify, please open this\u00a0KCMSSL Ambassador\u00a0Jacket\u00a0Application-\u00a0https:\/\/kcseniorsoftball.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Ambassador-Jacket-Application-Form-Fillable.pdf<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0– and complete ALL of the information to see if you meet the necessary requirements to become an Ambassador.
