This Newsletter’s Table of Contents:<\/strong><\/p>\n For those of you interested in the results of our “Food Pantry” collection\u00a0this past Saturday (at our Annual Membership Meeting), the standing-room-only crowd of approximately 240 people provided\u00a0$400 in cash or check donations\u00a0and 243 pounds of food items.\u00a0\u00a0THANK YOU\u00a0to all who\u00a0participated!!!<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0Your cooperation made\u00a0this event a success.\u00a0 \u00a0You can plan on us doing this\u00a0again at our 2026 annual meeting.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Our thanks, also, to all the members who\u00a0donate their\u00a0time to the organization–just as the board members do:\u00a0 the Directors, Coordinators, Managers, Committee members, etc.\u00a0 All 100+ of you\u00a0are truly appreciated.\u00a0 You are what makes this organization\u00a0run as smoothly as it does.<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0We wouldn’t be where we are today without you.\u00a0 Again…THANK YOU!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n If you have an\u00a0interest in filling any listed position above, or joining any one of our committees https:\/\/kcseniorsoftball.org\/?page_id=9940<\/strong><\/a> , please let us know.<\/p>\n The total KCMSSL paid membership count for 2025\u00a0was 950….a slight decrease from the 2024\u00a0figure of 977.<\/p>\n So what does this mean?\u00a0 \u00a0It means our\u00a0Marketing Committee is requesting your assistance.\u00a0 We, obviously, want to\u00a0attract more members…young or old.\u00a0 We want to target\u00a07 major\u00a0areas: Community Centers,\u00a0Gyms,\u00a0Media Outlets,\u00a0Sporting Events,\u00a0Practice Facilities,\u00a0and Sports Bars…oh, and even Senior Living Centers–for those “not-so-young<\/strong>” prospective\u00a0members\u00a0\ud83d\ude42 .\u00a0 \u00a0Our 2026 marketing brochure is available, along with our generic business card.\u00a0 \u00a0We will provide you with as many as you like of either\u00a0of\u00a0these…just let us know.<\/p>\n We also realize that\u00a0the best way for growth to occur is through YOUR \u201cWORD OF MOUTH”.<\/strong>\u00a0 So, please assist us, and the league, by talking about and promoting the KCMSSL at any and every opportunity.\u00a0 If you have a contact for us to reach out to, please let us know.\u00a0 If you\u2019d like to help in any other way, please contact Barry Gordon: barrygordo@aol.com<\/strong><\/a>;
