NEW 2025 HALL OF HONOR AWARD<\/b><\/span><\/b><\/h1>\n

CRITERIA FOR THE AWARD: This AWARD recognizes and promotes individuals who have made a compelling contribution to the KANSAS CITY METRO SENIOR SOFTBALL LEAGUE through instruction, promotion, leadership, sportsmanship and service.<\/b><\/p>\n

WHO CAN RECEIVE THIS AWARD: Any current or former KCMSSL member with at least seven (7) years of league participation.\u00a0 The award can be issued posthumously. There will be no limit put on the number of awards that can be issued.<\/b><\/p>\n

WHEN WILL THE AWARD BE ISSUED:\u00a0 Annually at the Membership meeting in December.<\/b><\/p>\n

WHAT WILL THE AWARD BE:\u00a0\u00a0 An inscribed trophy. In conjunction with the trophy, a page on the KCMSSL website will be designed in the form of an award plaque. Small, individualized \u201ctabs \/ web links\u201d will be placed on the plaque with the recipient\u2019s name and year of the award. When a reader clicks on the link, they learn more information about the individual. Also, an attempt will be made to have a photo of the person to go along with the summary of that person’s contributions.<\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/b>CRITERIA FOR CHOOSING RECIPIENTS:<\/b><\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 KCMSSL Board Members and Conference Coordinators will nominate & vote on candidates.
\n<\/b>2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Recipient must receive 2\/3 of the \u201cYES \/ NO\u201d vote from the combined Board Member \/ Conference Coordinator votes in order to receive the HOH Award.
\n<\/b>3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 If a deceased KC Metro member is nominated and receives the award, no engraved trophy will be issued.\u00a0\u00a0 But, an HOH tab for our website plaque will be created.
\n<\/b>4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 All living elected members will:
\n<\/b>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Be presented with an HOH Trophy at our annual Membership Meeting the 1st week of December
